The December Giveaway

>> Friday, December 19, 2008

I had so much fun with the Thanksgiving giveaway I did last month, I’m going to try to do a giveaway every month. For this giveaway I was inspired by the art of Drenched in White and Robin’s use of pink. As I expressed in yesterday’s post, I just love pink. Orange too, but that’s another story. This month I will be sending one lucky winner my Still photograph.

To enter, simply visit my photography shop or my cards & gifts shop and leave a comment on this post letting me know which shop you visited and your favorite item from that shop. Please only comment once.

Because Christmas is just a week away and I know everyone is super busy, I’m running the giveaway for two full weeks. You have until Friday, January 2nd at 10pm (PST) to enter. I will randomly choose one winner Saturday, January 3rd. Please check back to see if you’ve won!

*U.S. entries only please*

Hey Melissa,
I actually visited both shops and while I think your photography is amazing, I have to say that I love the button magnets in your cards & gift shop. Not only are they adorable, but the way you display and present them definitely makes them a 'must have'. Great job!

Hi Melissa,
I went to the photography shop, and had such a hard time choosing a favorite with so many beautiful shots!
But I settled on Fleur de Lis. I like the colors, and the juxtaposition of the soft curves of the rusty metal against the cracked paint.

Oh, and thanks again for the beautiful write-up on my work!

Hi! I actually visited both of your shops, but I love the Dream card in your greeting card shop. I love how you attached the ribbon with staples. I've been experimenting with that technique myself, but am not sure how to make the ends of the ribbons pretty- what's your advice?

Thanks, gracefulgirl

About Me

I view the world as if I’m looking through the lens of a camera. I see photographs everywhere. I’m inspired by the simple and ordinary in our everyday lives. I see beauty in a pear and in the details of an old-fashioned door knob. Photography is my passion and I want to help people see the simple splendor that surrounds us.
